Overview

Dediprog ADP-SF600-254-TO-127-CB adapts the SF600/SF600Plus-G2 programmer’s 2×10 2.54 mm header to a compact 2×10 1.27 mm header for in-system programming (ISP). Supplied with an 8 cm 1.27 mm ribbon cable, it provides a direct, one-to-one mapping of SF600 signals (including CS1/CS2 and DQ0–DQ3) to targets that use a 1.27 mm footprint, reducing board space and simplifying fixture design.

The adapter is part of the Dediprog SF600 ecosystem and complements accessories such as the SF600Plus-G2 programmer, the SF600-ISO-Board-2 isolation board, and ISP adaptors like ISP-SPIxIIC. For SF100 users, see the compact ISP-UADP-127 universal adaptor. These options support engineering and production workflows across SPI NOR/NAND devices.

Why consider it? If your target PCB standardises on 1.27 mm 20-pin ISP headers, this adapter keeps your SF600-series hardware and cabling unchanged while matching the finer pitch on board—lowering risk, preserving signal integrity, and avoiding ad-hoc cabling.

Questions and Answers

8 questions
  • Can I Use It for Both SPI NOR and SPI NAND Targets?

It carries the SF600 series signals, so device support comes from the programmer. Dediprog lists SPI NAND and SPI NOR for the SF600Plus-G2; the SF600 and SF600Plus are SPI NOR programmers.

  • Is There Isolation to Improve Boot Behaviour on Motherboards?

No, isolation isn't part of this adapter. If attaching the programmer affects DUT boot, use the SF600-ISO-Board-2 (Dediprog lists it for the SF600 and SF600Plus).

  • How Does This Differ From 20-to-10 'SWD' Adapters?

Those convert 20-pin to 10-pin (often for ARM SWD) and are not pin-compatible with the SF600's 2x10 header. This adapter provides a 20-pin 1.27 mm connection to the SF600 series 2x10 header.

  • What If My Project Uses SF100?

For the SF100, consider the compact ISP-UADP-127 universal adaptor.

  • Is This a Good Fit for Dense DUT Layouts?

Yes, a 1.27 mm 2x10 header takes much less board space than a 2.54 mm one, so it suits dense layouts.

  • What Programmers Is This Adapter For?

It's designed for the Dediprog SF600 series, including the SF600Plus-G2.

  • Does It Change the SF600 Pinout?

It converts the SF600 series 2.54 mm 2x10 header to a 1.27 mm 2x10 header; Dediprog does not publish a separate pinout for the adapter. The SF600 header carries signals such as CS1/CS2 and DQ0-DQ3, and the SF600Plus-G2 header also carries DQ4-DQ7.

  • Is a 1.27 mm Cable Included?

Yes, an 8 cm 1.27 mm 2x10 cable with female header is included.
