Overview
The Xeltek CX1033 is a SOIC28 socket adapter (1.27mm pitch, 7.5mm body, opentop socket) for the CX-series SuperPro programmers: SuperPro 6000, 6000E, 5000, 5000E and 5004GP. Xeltek has discontinued the CX1033 and names the CX1036 as its replacement.
The Xeltek CX1033 is a 28-pin SOIC28 socket adapter (1.27mm pitch, 7.5mm body) with an opentop socket, for the CX-series SuperPro programmers: SuperPro 6000, 6000E, 5000, 5000E and 5004GP. It takes loose wide-body SOIC28 devices for off-board programming on the bench or a small production run.
SOIC28 Socket Adapter for SuperPro 6000 and 6000E
Xeltek matches each adapter series to a programmer family, and the CX series serves the SuperPro 5000/5000E, 6000/6000E and 5004GP. If you program on a SuperPro 6000 or SuperPro 6000E, the CX1033 is the CX-series SOIC28 (7.5mm body) adapter for that programmer. The SuperPro 6100 and 6104GP use the DX-series equivalent, the DX1033.
Discontinued by Xeltek: CX1036 Replacement
Xeltek lists the CX1033 as discontinued and names the CX1036 (DX1036 for the 6100 family) as its replacement. This listing is for the CX1033 itself. If you are standardising a programming station on new adapters, ask us about the CX1036. Xeltek's Device Search returns the programmer and adapter for a device part number, so check your device there or send us the part number.

Yes. Xeltek lists CX-series adapters for the SuperPro 6000 and 6000E, as well as the 5000, 5000E and 5004GP. The SuperPro 6100 and 6104GP need the DX1033 instead.

Is the CX1033 Still Made?
No. Xeltek has discontinued the CX1033 and recommends the CX1036 as its replacement. Contact us if you need the CX1036.

What Is the Difference Between the CX1033 and DX1033?
The prefix is the programmer family, not the socket. Xeltek lists both on one page with one specification (SOIC28, 1.27mm pitch, 7.5mm body, opentop). CX fits the SuperPro 5000/5000E, 6000/6000E and 5004GP; DX fits the SuperPro 6100 and 6104GP. Both are discontinued, replaced by the CX1036 and DX1036.
