Overview

The Testec TT-HVP 15 B is a high-voltage passive oscilloscope probe designed to measure DC accurately, and AC signals up to 10 kV DC, 7 kV RMS, and 20 kV peak. With a 40 MHz bandwidth (±3 dB) and 1000:1 attenuation, it ensures minimal circuit loading thanks to its high input impedance of 100 MΩ and ultra-low 3 pF capacitance. Engineered for safety, it features CAT 0 compliance (1 kV) and includes a derating curve for voltage-frequency dependency to prevent overloads in high-frequency applications.

This probe is compatible with oscilloscopes featuring 1 MΩ input resistance and 15–30 pF input capacitance. Its 2-metre cable and lightweight design enable flexible use in power electronics, industrial systems, and automotive testing. The TT-HVP 15 B includes a frequency compensation trimmer for precise waveform fidelity, critical for analysing rise times as fast as 8.8 ns. Consider the Testec TT-HVP 40 (40 kV DC) or TT-HVP 2739 (39 kV peak) for higher voltage requirements within the same series.

Ideal for engineers prioritising cost-effectiveness without compromising safety, the TT-HVP 15 B outperforms competitors like the Keysight 10076C in affordability while matching critical specs such as input impedance and derating performance. Its robust construction and compliance with IEC safety standards make it a reliable choice for high-voltage diagnostics.
