The Leaptronix PSTART is a PIC device programmer manufactured under licence from Microchip Technology. LEAP PSTART provides product development engineers with a highly-flexible and low-cost tool to design microcontrollers, such as PIC16C5X, PIC16CXX and PIC17CXX 8-bit one-time-programmable(OTP).
Manufactured under licence from Microchip (PIC-START), the PSTART PIC programmer from Leap Electronic is also a PIC development system, which includes the MPLAB Integrated Development Environment with its built in editor, assembler and Windows-based MPLAB-SIM simulator.
