Key Features
Overview
LinkBone 8×8 BNC Matrix (LB-MX-BNC-01) routes analogue or digital signals between any of eight 50 Ω BNC ports to any eight on the opposite side. Each crosspoint is controlled independently, enabling flexible, bidirectional signal paths for development, validation and production test.
Engineered For Test Automation
Control locally via the front-panel touchscreen or remotely using the built-in HTTP web interface, Telnet, RC-5 infrared remote and RS-232. With a specified bandwidth of DC to 50 MHz and per-port ratings of ±24 V and 1.5 A, the matrix is suitable for mixed-signal measurement, functional test and signal distribution while maintaining 50 Ω integrity.
The unit includes 19″ rack mounting hardware and retains its switching state after power loss—useful for unattended systems. If you need parallel two-line switching, consider the related LinkBone 8×8 Dual BNC Matrix (LB-MX-BNC-02). For balanced audio or differential lines with XLR connectors, see LinkBone 8×8 Single XLR Matrix (LB-MX-XLR-01).
Why Engineers Choose The LinkBone 8×8 BNC Matrix Switch
Mixed-Signal Capacity
Automation-Ready
Operational Convenience
The LinkBone 8×8 Matrix allows switching analogue or digital signals between any of eight ports to any eight ports on the other side of the matrix. Each matrix switch state is controlled independently. All lines route electrical signals bidirectionally between ports
Switch Configuration
The Switch Position and Operating Mode can be changed using the following Methods:
Infrared Remote Control
The LinkBone Matrix Switch comes with an Infrared remote control. This makes it easy for the user to select the switch position quickly.
Built-in Webpage via Ethernet Interface
The LinkBone Matrix Switch can also be controlled remotely from its built-in web server. This allows the switch position to be selected from anywhere in the world via the webpage or Telnet commands from automated controllers
RS-232 Interface
As an alternative, the built-in RS-232 interface can also be used, making it suitable to be connected to PLC controllers etc.
Applications
The LinkBone Matrix Switch is a perfect choice for Test Automation Measurement. The BNC switch can be used in various applications. From video and audio to more complex signals with high amplitudes and frequencies.
