Leap Electronic was established in 1980 and is located in Taipei, Taiwan. With experienced employees, Leap specialises in designing and manufacturing test equipment.

The company has also been qualified by major semiconductor manufacturers including AMD, Altera, Atmel, Freescale, Hitachi, Holtek, Intel, ISSI, Microchip, MXIC, Motorola, NXP, Philips, SST, ST, Winbond, UMC etc.

Leap is known for producing instruments under its own name.
