The AudioAMP Board is an accessory board that includes an LM386 low-voltage audio power amplifier with internal gain. The gain is internally set to 20 in order to keep the external part count low, but the gain can be increased from 20 to 200 with the addition of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8. The AudioAMP Board has screw terminals that aid in easy connectivity and secure connections. The AudioAMP Board is designed to operate using a 3.3V to 5V systems.

IC/Module: LM386 Audio Amplifier
The AudioAMP Board is based on the LM386 power amplifier intended for low-voltage consumer applications. In order to keep external part count low, the gain is initially set to 20. However, with the addition of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8, the gain can be increased from 20 to 200. The inputs are ground referenced while the output automatically gives a bias to one-half the supply voltage.
