Version L-22402E describes LINEEYE Multi Protocol Analyzer models LE-8600X and LE-8600XR alongside LE-8500X and LE-8500XR for stand-alone 10 Gbit and 1 Gbit Ethernet analysis with a seven inch colour LCD and internal 500 GB SSD on the LE-8600X series for long captures without a PC. Time synchronisation via GNSS PPS achieves accurate timestamps, and XR variants add Wi‑Fi connectivity for flexible remote access in the field. File management saves data, settings and screenshots to USB or SDHC with export to PcapNG for Wireshark workflows.
The LE-8600X series equips two SFP or SFP plus measurement ports supporting 10GBASE‑T, SR, LR and ER as well as 1GBASE options to cover copper and fibre links in single mode or multimode environments. A pattern generator outputs line‑rate test packets with adjustable inter frame gaps across sixteen transmission tables to stress networks and validate throughput and latency. Capture memory, search, filter and trigger tools accelerate fault isolation, while delay measurement compares receive timing between ports to quantify skew and path asymmetry.
The LE-8500X series provides four RJ‑45 measurement ports for dual channel 1 GbE monitoring and uniquely combines packet capture with PoE power measurement between ports A and B for correlated analysis. PoE testing covers PoE, PoE plus and PoE plus plus with logging of power, voltage and current over up to 4.5 hours, including a voltage range of 0 to 60 V and current range to plus or minus 900 mA with pass or fail judgement and graph or dump displays. Statistical analysis, auto save to external USB 3.0 storage, and compact 234 by 186 by 44 mm battery powered hardware make these analyzers versatile for development, deployment and maintenance tasks.
