Overview
The Lineeye LE-8500X is a handheld LAN protocol analyser for 10/100/1000BASE-T. It can observe two Ethernet lines concurrently while measuring Power over Ethernet (PoE) on one line, capture traffic to internal storage or USB 3.0 media in PCAP-NG format, and review frames on its colour touchscreen or in Wireshark. Engineers can operate it standalone in the field or tether it to a PC to stream captures for deeper analysis.
Within the same family, the LE-8500XR adds Wi-Fi for PC connections, and the higher-throughput LE-8600X extends analysis to 10 GbE links. For serial-bus work, the LE-8500X-RT variant targets RS-232/422/485 and TTL/CMOS protocols. A replacement battery pack (P-26LW2) is available from Debug Store.

Der Lineeye LE-8500X/LE-8500XR ist ein praktischer Kommunikationsprotokollanalysator, der mit einer Messplatine ausgestattet ist, die den Stromversorgungsstatus eines PoE (Power over Ethernet) und zweier Leitungen von Ethernet-Kommunikationsdaten auf einer Leitung (von 10BASE-T bis 1000BASE-T) gleichzeitig messen und testen kann.
Es kann je nach Testsituation umfassend zum Diagnostizieren und Testen von LAN-Netzwerken und verwandten Geräten mithilfe der Paketüberwachungsfunktion, der Paketgeneratorfunktion (PG), der statistischen Analysefunktion, der PoE-Beurteilungsfunktion usw. verwendet werden.
Das Lineeye LE-8500X/LE-8500XR verfügt über ein 7-Zoll-LCD-Farbdisplay mit Touchpanel, sodass Sie die Messdaten direkt vor Ort prüfen können, ohne einen PC zu verwenden. Sie können die Daten über USB 3.0 auf einem USB-Flash-Speicher usw. protokollieren, um die Daten nach der Erfassung detailliert zu analysieren.
Da den Überwachungsdaten mithilfe einer optionalen GPS-Antenne außerdem hochpräzise durch GNSS-Signale korrigierte Zeitstempel hinzugefügt werden können, können Sie durch die Überprüfung der Zeitstempel die über einen längeren Zeitraum an zwei Punkten gleichzeitig gemessenen Daten vergleichen und analysieren, um etwaige Kommunikationsfehler zu untersuchen.
