Collection: Tag-Connect TC2050 — 10-Pin Plug-of-Nails™ Test & Programming Cables
The Tag-Connect TC2050 range provides 10-pin Plug-of-Nails™ cables for MCU and FPGA debug and programming, offering a larger pin count and supporting full JTAG and SWD interfaces, including signals such as TDI, TDO, RTCLK, and nTRST. Like all Tag-Connect cables, TC2050 eliminates the need for a PCB-mounted debug header, requiring only a tiny footprint of pads and locating holes — saving cost on every board.
TC2050 cables are available in Legged and No-Legs variants. The legged version snaps firmly into the PCB for hands-free use during development, while the no-legs version is ideal for rapid production-line programming. They terminate in standard 0.1″ IDC ribbon connectors, making them compatible with the vast majority of JTAG and SWD debug probes, including J-Link, ULINK, and ARM 20-pin adapters.
Typical applications include:
- Full JTAG debug and boundary scan for MCUs and FPGAs
- ARM Cortex SWD programming with nTRST support
- Production programming with minimal board-side hardware
-
Development boards requiring flexible 10-pin debug access
PCB Footprint: 10-pin TC2050, with a 0.03″ pad/hole footprint. Spring pins rated for 100,000+ operations.
