Overview
The Magneto 4 Click Board™ is a high-resolution magnetic encoder Click Board™ which allows contactless motion sensing down to 0.5µm. It features the AS5311, a complete integrated solution with Hall elements, low-noise analog front-end, and digital signal processing (DSP) sections, on the same die. Thanks to the internal DSP processing, the AS5311 can output the absolute movement detection over the serial interface as a bit stream, or as a PWM signal. The AS5311 IC also offers a high-resolution incremental output with the additional index option. The device is supposed to be used with the multi-pole magnetic strip or ring.
Das Magneto 4 Click Board™ ist ein hochauflösendes magnetisches Encoder-Click Board™, das berührungslose Bewegungserfassung bis zu 0,5 µm ermöglicht. Es verfügt über den AS5311, eine vollständig integrierte Lösung mit Hall-Elementen, rauscharmem analogen Frontend und Abschnitten zur digitalen Signalverarbeitung (DSP) auf demselben Chip. Dank der internen DSP-Verarbeitung kann der AS5311 die absolute Bewegungserkennung über die serielle Schnittstelle als Bitstrom oder als PWM-Signal ausgeben. Der AS5311-IC bietet außerdem einen hochauflösenden inkrementellen Ausgang mit der zusätzlichen Indexoption. Das Gerät ist für die Verwendung mit dem mehrpoligen Magnetstreifen oder -ring vorgesehen.
