The Picotest P2102A 2-Port Probe revolutionises power integrity measurements with its high-precision, passive transmission line design. Perfect for electronic design engineers, this probe offers unparalleled accuracy in measuring a wide array of parameters, including impedance, transient step load, ripple, noise, TDR/TDT, and non-invasive stability (NISM). With a bandwidth of DC-300MHz, it ensures accurate measurements down to <1mΩ and up to KΩ, making it indispensable for assessing power distribution networks (PDNs) and ensuring optimal performance in high-speed and high-power applications.

The P2102A features four interchangeable probe heads (sizes 1206, 0805, 0603, and 0402), allowing flexibility across various surface-mount device (SMD) packages. Its fixed-pitch probe tip design eliminates the need for soldering SMA or coax cables to your board, reducing the risk of damage to fine copper pads or pulling up small components. Additionally, the probe supports 1X to 10X attenuations, enabling measurement of voltages up to 14V (10X attenuation), ensuring optimal sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).

This precision probe supports a variety of measurements including impedance (2-port series and shunt-through), transient step load, ripple, noise, TDT/TDR, PCB power rail, VRM (Voltage Regulator Module), clock jitter, and non-invasive stability (NISM).
