Overview

The Micsig RCP Series Rogowski AC Current Probe is an advanced measurement tool designed for professional electronic design engineers working with high-frequency and high-current applications. With a bandwidth of 2Hz to 30MHz and the ability to measure AC currents up to 6000Apk, this probe is ideal for a wide range of power electronics and semiconductor testing scenarios.

The RCP Series features a thin, flexible 1.6mm diameter coil that easily wraps around conductors and passes through narrow spaces, such as the pin legs of TO-220 semiconductor devices. This design allows for accurate measurements in hard-to-reach areas of circuits, including compact chip packages like TO-47.

Offering typical accuracy of 2% and minimal insertion impedance, the RCP Series provides reliable results while minimizing interference with the device under test. Its high-frequency capabilities make it particularly suitable for observing harmonic components in MOSFET Id current measurements and performing double-pulse dynamic tests on SiC and GaN devices.

Compatible with standard oscilloscopes via BNC interface, the Micsig RCP Series is an essential tool for engineers working on motor drives, power quality analysis, and power converter development. Its versatility and precision make it indispensable for modern electronic design challenges.
