Overview
Introducing the powerful LinkBone 15-Way XLR Switch, a versatile analog multiplexer/switch that offers outstanding signal switching capabilities for both digital and analog applications.
Designed to facilitate seamless switching between a common port P and a set of fifteen A to O ports, this XLR multiplexer is perfect for a wide range of scenarios where precision signal routing is essential.
- Effortlessly switch between different signal sources with the user-configurable control of each port state.
- Experience flexibility and efficiency with two operational modes - single, for classic one-port connection, and multi, for connecting multiple ports simultaneously.
Whether you're in the realm of audio, complex signal transmission, or demanding test automation tasks, the LinkBone 15-Way XLR Multiplexer delivers exceptional performance.
Control the multiplexer remotely using the Ethernet interface for easy access via a user-friendly web interface or opt for more advanced control via serial RS-232 connection or Telnet commands. For manual control, the included infrared remote RC5 allows quick state changes at the press of a button.
- Efficiently manage signal routing with bidirectional electrical signal flow between ports.
- Enhance your measurement and testing processes by incorporating this reliable XLR switch into your setup.
Specifications:
- Type: Analog Multiplexer
- Ports: 15 XLR Ports (A to O) and 1 Common Port (P)
- Control: Remote Control (Ethernet, RS-232, Infrared) and Web Interface
LinkBone 1-to-15 XLR Switch is an analogue multiplexer/switch designed for switching digital and analogue signals between common port P and a set of fifteen ports (A to O). Each port switch state is controlled by user configuration independently. All lines route electrical signals bidirectionally between ports. This means the switch can be configured as 1 to 15 or 15 to 1.
Operating Mode
The LinkBone XLR Switch can operate in one of two modes:
Single-Mode
Only one of the A to O ports can simultaneously be connected to the common port, P. The device operates as a classic analogue multiplexer/demultiplexer in this configuration.
Multi-Mode
When configured in multi-mode, there is no limit of ports connected to node P. Meaning that more than one port can be connected to port P simultaneously.
Switch Configuration
The Switch Position and Operating Mode can be changed using the following Methods:
Infrared Remote Control
The LinkBone multiplexer comes with an Infrared remote control. This makes it easy for the user to select the switch position quickly manually.
Built-in Webpage via Ethernet Interface
The LinkBone Multiplexer can also be controlled remotely from its built-in web server. This allows the switch position to be selected from anywhere in the world via the webpage or Telnet commands from automated controllers
RS-232 Interface
As an alternative, the built-in RS-232 interface can also be used, making it suitable to be connected to PLC controllers etc.
Applications
LinkBone XLR switch can be used in various applications, from video and audio to more complex signals with high amplitudes and frequencies.
