Overview
The TC2050-IDC-LONGLEGS is a version of the TC2050-IDC 10-pin Plug-of-Nails debug cable for thicker boards. Its connector has longer alignment pins and legs, so the legs clip securely through PCBs thicker than the standard 1.6 mm (0.063 in).
Use it for boards over 1.6 mm and up to 3.2 mm (0.126 in) thick. For boards thicker than 3.2 mm, ask us and we will check with Tag-Connect.
The board needs only pads and holes, with no connector fitted. Check your layout against the TC2050-IDC datasheet below.

Questions and Answers
-
What PCB Thickness Does It Support?
Boards over 1.6 mm (0.063 in) and up to 3.2 mm (0.126 in) thick. For thicker boards, ask us before ordering.
-
Does It Need a Different Footprint?
It is based on the TC2050-IDC, so start from the footprint in the TC2050-IDC datasheet below. The longer legs and alignment pins reach through the thicker board. If your board is close to 3.2 mm or the layout is tight, ask us and we will confirm it with Tag-Connect.
-
Should I Use It on a 1.6 mm Board?
Use the standard TC2050-IDC for boards up to 1.6 mm thick. The LONGLEGS version is for boards over 1.6 mm.
