Built on a completely new FPGA-based architecture, the Promira platform is the latest tool in Total Phase's established line of cost-effective and easy-to-use embedded solutions. Instantly add new features to your device, as they become available: program and receive data with new protocols, higher clock rates and real-time protocol analysis.

Each Promira platform includes a full software suite including powerful GUIs and APIs for a variety of applications.
Every Promira platform comes standard with integrated level-shifting, as well as Ethernet and USB control interfaces. The Promira platform is ready to accomplish any task you set it to.

Here are some typical applications of the PROMIRA:

Development Prototyping

The Promira can be configured as a bus master or slave. As a master, it can be used to connect to sensors, memory devices and other peripherals. As a slave, it can be used to emulate a serial device and respond to test commands sent by a master CPU.

Device Programming

The unit can be used to program EEPROM and Flash devices on a target board in the laboratory.

The Promira is also ideal for production programming. Using its inbuilt Ethernet interface, the unit can be controlled away from the production floor using its API. This gives greater flexibility than the usual USB interface.

Production Testing

In addition to being able to program a blank memory device in production, the Promira can also be used to perform regression tests on the programmed device, ensuring the quality of your manufactured device.

How Do I Buy a Promira?

The Promira serial platform can be configured to run a range of Applications. You simply choose which application, or applications you need when ordering. At least one application must be chosen. Other applications can be purchased when you need them. This makes the Prpmira a great investment as you only pay for applications that you need, saving you money! .
