Die SKU-055-03 von Amfeltec ist ein MiniPCI Express Riser , der den MiniPCI Express Bus eines Motherboards erweitern soll. Dieses Riser-Set umfasst eine MiniPCI Express-Adapterkarte, eine MiniPCI Express-Hostkarte mit halber Bauhöhe und ein 304 mm (12 Zoll) langes PCI Express-Flachkabel. The Amfeltec SKU-055-03 MiniPCIe Riser is designed to extend the MiniPCI Express Bus of a motherboard. It comes with a MiniPCI Express adapter board, a helf-height MiniPCI Express host board and a 304mm (12") PCI Express Flat cable. The MiniPCI Express host board is connected to the motherboard of the host computer at the upstream MiniPCI Express port. The MiniPCI Express adapter board is then connected to the host board via a 304mm PCI Express Flat cable, and one expansion MiniPCI Express add-in board is then plugged into the standard MiniPCI Express connector provided on the MiniPCI Express adapter board.
Mechanical
The flexible nature of the connection allows positioning of the expansion MiniPCI Express add-in board away from the MiniPCI Express connector on the motherboard inside the computer chassis. The MiniPCI Express adapter board comes with two mounting holes that aid in easy mounting of the board inside the computer chassis.
Power Supply
This riser system can either be powered by the host board or by an external 3.3V power supply. It supports the Plug-and-Play feature that allows you to use it right out of the box without installing any dedicated software on the computer system.
Status LEDs
The MiniPCI Host Card features surface-mounted LEDs that display the downstream PCI express Link status along with "PRESENT" status of the MiniPCI Express add-in board.
