Overview
The 7x10 R Click Board™ is a display add-on board that serves as an essential dual-character display capable of showing letters in more readable typefaces compared to a 14-segment display that supersedes the 7x5 standard resolution meant for displaying ASCII characters. The 7x10 R Click Board™ is capable of carrying a matrix of 70 red LEDs driven by a pair of 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift registers, a Darlington Transistor array and a Johnson counter.
Apart from providing the user with a dual- character display, the 7x10 R Click Board™ also maintains the scope of providing a four-character display in case of doubling up on a board with two adjacent MikroBUS sockets, such as [Clicker Board 2][3] or [Flip & Click Board™][2]. It is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.
Das 7x10 R Click Board™ ist eine Display-Zusatzplatine, die als grundlegendes Dual-Character-Display dient und Buchstaben in besser lesbaren Schriftarten anzeigen kann als ein 14-Segment-Display, das die 7x5-Standardauflösung zur Anzeige von ASCII-Zeichen ersetzt. Das 7x10 R Click Board™ kann eine Matrix aus 70 roten LEDs tragen, die von einem Paar 8-Bit-Seriell-In-Parallel-Out-Schieberegistern, einem Darlington-Transistor-Array und einem Johnson-Zähler angesteuert werden.
Das 7x10 R Click Board™ bietet dem Benutzer nicht nur eine Anzeige mit zwei Zeichen, sondern auch die Möglichkeit, eine Anzeige mit vier Zeichen bereitzustellen, wenn es auf einer Platine mit zwei benachbarten MikroBUS-Buchsen verdoppelt wird, wie z. B. [Clicker Board 2][3] oder [Flip & Click Board™][2]. Es ist für die Verwendung einer 3,3-V- oder 5-V-Stromversorgung ausgelegt.
