Overview
The TC2050-IDC-050-ALL-SOFT is the soft-squeeze version of the TC2050-IDC-050-ALL: a legged 10-pin Plug-of-Nails cable with a 0.05-inch pitch ribbon connector that suits ULINK2 and similar debuggers using the Samtec FTSH-105-01 style micro-header.
All 10 pins are connected one to one. (The standard TC2050-IDC-050 leaves pins 5 and 9 unconnected to match the TC2050-ARM2010 adapter.)
Soft-squeeze cables are made for frequent production use: the side squeeze-tabs are easier on operators' fingers, and they can also help in very low humidity or low temperatures, where squeeze-tabs can be stiffer. An accidental tug can disconnect them, so they are not recommended for debugging and development, and they are not recommended for humid environments.
The LEMTA version has the 10-pin ribbon connector fitted the other way round. Use it with the Atmel-ICE, whose 10-pin male connectors use reversed, non-standard pin numbering.

Questions and Answers
-
What Does ALL Mean?
All 10 pins are connected one to one. The standard TC2050-IDC-050 leaves pins 5 and 9 unconnected to match the TC2050-ARM2010 adapter.
-
When Do I Need the LEMTA Version?
With the Atmel-ICE. Its 10-pin male connectors use reversed, non-standard pin numbering, and the LEMTA cable's ribbon connector is fitted backwards to correct it.
-
Should I Use a Soft-Squeeze Cable for Debugging?
No. An accidental tug can disconnect it. Use the standard TC2050-IDC-050-ALL for debugging and development, and the soft-squeeze version for frequent production programming.
-
What Footprint Does My Board Need?
The TC2050 legged footprint. The TC2050-IDC datasheet below gives the footprint and layout rules.
