Overview
The Hantek HT307 Acupuncture Probes are designed for probing difficult-to-reach signals protected by insulation.
Acupuncture probes can be fixed to the end of a standard Multimeter lead.
The acupuncture probe can be used when it is necessary to probe signals in a cable loom. The probe is used by piercing the cable's insulation with its needle-like tip until the conductor is reached. The minute hole created in the insulation will generally close up, offering continued protection to the conductor. This makes it suitable for automotive applications.
As the probe tips are hardened and sharp, they may also be suitable for probing tiny Surface Mount device legs.
