Overview
The DC Motor 11 Click Board™ is a brushed DC motor driver with the current limiting and current sensing. It is based on the DRV8830, an integrated H-Bridge driver IC, optimised for motor driving applications. It can be operated by two logic signals, allowing to drive of the connected motor in two different ways: it can use fixed logic levels for the direction control, or it can be controlled by a PWM signal, offering an additional speed control option. The DRV8830 also contains a set of protection features, offering a very high level of reliability.
Besides driving capabilities, DC Motor 11 Click Board™ can also sense current consumption at its output.
Le DC Motor 11 Click Board™ est un driver de moteur à courant continu à balais avec limitation et détection de courant. Il est basé sur le DRV8830, un circuit intégré de driver H-Bridge intégré, optimisé pour les applications de pilotage de moteur. Il peut être actionné par deux signaux logiques, permettant de piloter le moteur connecté de deux manières différentes : il peut utiliser des niveaux logiques fixes pour le contrôle de direction, ou il peut être contrôlé par un signal PWM, offrant une option de contrôle de vitesse supplémentaire. Le DRV8830 contient également un ensemble de fonctions de protection, offrant un très haut niveau de fiabilité.
Outre ses capacités de pilotage, le DC Motor 11 Click Board™ peut également détecter la consommation de courant à sa sortie.
