Overview
The Ultrasonic 2 Click Board™ is an ultrasonic range detection Click Board™, capable of detecting both near-field and far-field objects. It is equipped with the PGA460, a highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC), based on the SONAR principle. This SoC consists of a low-noise analogue front end (AFE) with a programmable time-varying gain stage, a digital signal processor (DSP), and an integrated transducer driver. The PGA460 offers a very accurate and reliable range detection, regardless of the position of an object: the incoming echo signal is conditioned and dynamically amplified before it is digitized so that the optimal signal-to-noise ratio can be achieved.
L' Usinic 2 Click Board™ est un Click Board™ de détection de portée à ultrasons, capable de détecter des objets en champ proche et en champ lointain. Il est équipé du PGA460, un système sur puce (SoC) hautement intégré, basé sur le principe SONAR. Ce SoC se compose d'un frontal analogique à faible bruit (AFE) avec un étage de gain variable dans le temps programmable, d'un processeur de signal numérique (DSP) et d'un pilote de transducteur intégré. Le PGA460 offre une détection de portée très précise et fiable, quelle que soit la position d'un objet : le signal d'écho entrant est conditionné et amplifié dynamiquement avant d'être numérisé afin que le rapport signal/bruit optimal puisse être atteint.
