Flip&Click Board SAM3X
Flip&Click Board SAM3X
Overview
The Flip&Click Board™ from MikroE has just been released. It was announced at Rome Maker Fair to wide acclaim. It is an Arduino Uno board based on the same 32-bit AT91SAM3X8E CPU with an ARM Cortex M3 architecture with the usual Arduino expansion capabilities (The Blue Side).
However, the back of the board (The White Side) of the Flip n Click Board™ is fitted with four MikroBus sockets. This allows up to four Click Boards™ to be fitted and run simultaneously, significantly enhancing the Arduino's expansion capabilities.
Over 1300 Click Boards™ are now available from MikroElektronika, and stocked by Debug Store, more than any other reseller!
The Flip&Click SAM3X is a two-sided development board with a split personality. It can be used as a 32-bit Arduino Due powered by ARM Cortex™-M3 AT91SAM3X8E microcontroller, but it can also run Python. In either case, it's a beginner-friendly rapid prototyping tool expandable with up to four click boards (out of hundreds available).
