Overview

The Testec TT-CC 770 is a professional-grade AC/DC current probe engineered for precision measurements in demanding electronic applications. Part of the TT-CC series, this model offers a bandwidth of DC to 1 MHz, making it ideal for capturing high-frequency transient currents in motor drives, power inverters, and digital circuits.

With switchable sensitivity (500 mV/A and 50 mV/A), the probe measures currents from 7A to 70A peak, delivering exceptional accuracy (±3% in DC mode). Its CAT II 600V / CAT III 300V safety rating ensures reliable operation in industrial environments. The included BNC-to-banana plug adapter enables compatibility with most oscilloscopes and digital multimeters (DMMs), while the 9V battery or AC power adapter provides flexible power options.

Compared to other models in the TT-CC series—such as the TT-CC 220 (300 kHz) and TT-CC 990 (1.5 MHz)—the 770 strikes a balance between bandwidth and affordability. Competitive probes, like the AEMC SL201, lack its high-frequency capability (limited to 50 kHz), making the TT-CC 770 a superior choice for engineers requiring detailed waveform analysis.
