Overview

The Testec TT-CC 220 is a hybrid Hall effect and transformer-based current probe engineered for precise AC/DC measurements in industrial and laboratory settings. With a bandwidth of DC to 300 kHz, it captures transient currents up to 100 A peak (10 A DC / 70.7 A RMS CAT II), making it ideal for analysing motor drives, power electronics, and inrush currents.

Part of the TT-CC series, which includes the TT-CC 550 (500 kHz), TT-CC 770 (1 MHz), and TT-CC 990 (1.5 MHz), this probe offers switchable sensitivity ranges (100 mV/A and 10 mV/A) to optimise resolution for both low and high currents. Its CAT II 600 V / CAT III 300 V safety rating ensures reliable operation in building installations and industrial environments.

Powered by a 9 V battery or included AC adapter, the TT-CC 220 features a BNC output for oscilloscopes and a banana plug adapter for multimeters. Overload protection and a zero-adjust dial simplify calibration, while the Pollution Degree 2 rating guarantees performance in typical office or lab conditions. Engineers will appreciate its ±3% DC accuracy and rugged design, backed by Testec’s 1-year warranty.
