DIP to PLCC44 Adapter Board

Convert a DIP40 PIC socket into PLCC44 PIC compatible socket using the DIP to PLCC44 Adapter Board. Designed for a rapid and trouble-free operation, a PLCC (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) adapter allows the user to use a PIC with the PLCC housing shape in a device that supports only DIP packaging. The high-quality, compact-sized adapter board can be used with any programming board featuring the DIP40 socket. Without this adapter board, no connection can be established between the plug shape of a programming device and the housing shape of a chip. A PIC microcontroller is placed into the adapter before the programming starts. The microcontroller can be pulled out of the adapter after programming is done. DIP to PLCC44 Adapter Board supports a wide range of PIC microcontrollers, which includes 16F74, 16F77, 16F871, 16F874A, 16F877A, 18F242, 18F252, 18F442, 18F448, 18F452, and 18F458. DIP to PLCC44 Adapter Board is suitable for testing the PLCC44 chips. The top side of board fits socket while the bottom side of PCB features two single row surface mount vertical headers. It allows easy and fast work with PICs in PLCC44 package.
