Key Features
Overview
The Acute Technology TravelScope TS3000 Series is a compact, PC-based digital storage oscilloscope designed for engineers who need bench-grade measurements on the move. Via a single USB 3.0 connection, it delivers four analogue channels, 200 MHz bandwidth and up to 1 GS/s real-time sampling. A deep 128 Mpts record length per channel supports long acquisitions without sacrificing resolution.
TS3000 also integrates a 3-digit digital voltmeter and 5-digit frequency counter, plus a data-logger that streams to your PC’s SSD or HDD. For higher channel counts, DSO Stack Mode lets you combine multiple units for time-aligned capture. Developers can automate and integrate measurements using the available SDK.
Series options
Choose from TS3124E, TS3124B, TS3124H and TS3124V. The H/V variants add high-resolution modes, while TS3124V enables protocol trigger/decode and electrical validation for modern power-management buses. Pairing TS3000 with an Acute logic analyser enables mixed-signal (analogue + digital) debug. See the Acute TravelLogic Logic Analyser for a complementary solution.
Why consider TS3000?
It combines portable hardware with deep memory, multi-unit scaling and integrated DVM/counter—ideal for embedded, power and interface debug when a full bench scope is impractical.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have a Question?
-
What happens when the acquisition memory is full?
When the Acute TravelScope TS3000’s capture reaches its 128 Mpts-per-channel limit, behaviour depends on mode. In Single/Normal, acquisition stops and the waveform freezes for measurement and save/export. In Auto/Roll, the display continues by overwriting the oldest samples (circular buffer). To avoid truncation on long runs, enable the Data Logger to stream to your PC’s SSD/HDD, narrow the timebase, reduce the sample rate, refine triggers to capture only events of interest, or disable unused channels to maximise per-channel memory depth.
-
Which applications suit TS3000 best?
Embedded firmware bring-up, power-rail validation, serial-bus debug, and educational lab work where portability and long captures are required.
-
Is there an SDK or API for automation?
Yes. The SDK enables secondary development for automated test and custom tooling.
-
What’s included in the box?
Main unit, USB-A/C cable, four 250 MHz probes, stack cable and carry case; PC software available for download.
-
How does TS3000 compare to more expensive bench/MSO systems?
You retain deep memory, protocol options and scripting in a lighter, USB-powered form—ideal when portability matters more than integrated display or very high update rates.
-
Can it operate as a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO)?
Pair it with an Acute TravelLogic logic analyser to time-correlate analogue and digital signals.
-
Is there a high-resolution mode?
The TS3124H/V variants add higher-resolution acquisition modes for improved vertical detail.
-
Does it support protocol decoding and electrical validation?
Yes—choose the TS3124V variant for protocol trigger/decode and power-bus validation.
-
Can I expand beyond four analogue channels?
Yes. DSO Stack Mode allows multiple units to be combined for higher channel counts.
-
What bandwidth and sample rate does the TS3000 provide?
200 MHz analogue bandwidth with up to 1 GS/s real-time sampling across four channels.
