The TFT display module supports up to 24-bit pixel format (RGB: 888), allowing a true-colour palette of 16,7 million colours, and resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. It features an excellent contrast ratio and uniform brightness. TFT Board 4 Capacitive, along with other displays from the TFT Board Capacitive line of products, is supported by VisualTFT, a software tool for simplified development of visually oriented embedded applications.
