Carrying a PD15-22CTR8 PIN photodiode, this measurement add-on board lets the user effectively measure ambient light intensity and provides a signal (analogue or digital) to the target board microcontroller.
Moulded in water clear plastic with depictive silkscreen markings, PD1522CTR8 is a high photosensitivity PIN photodiode that is ideal for high-speed photodetector, copier, game machine, etc.
The Light Click Board™ also includes MAX6106 voltage reference and MCP3201 ADC with SPI communication interface. Light Click Board™ communicates with the mainboard MCU through SPI (MISO, SCK, CS) and AN lines. It is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.
