Introducing the New Baby-LIN-3-Single LIN Bus Simulation Device
The Baby-LIN-3-Single is the latest generation of Baby-LIN bus simulation devices from Lipowsky. This powerful new device lets you easily simulate, monitor, and control LIN bus communications from your PC. It replaces the popular Lipowsky Baby-LIN-II LIN Bus simulator.
New 480MHz Processor for Faster Performance
At the heart of the Baby-LIN-3-Single lies a 480MHz Cortex M7 processor, delivering a 60% speed boost over previous models. This improved performance enables faster execution of SDF files and leaves room for future software capabilities.
High-Speed USB 2.0 Interface with USB-C Connector
The device now features a native 480MBit/s USB 2.0 high-speed interface with a USB-C connector for more reliable, convenient connectivity.
Enhanced Usability
The Baby-LIN-3-Single has a male SUB-D9 connector to interface all bus signals securely. This upgraded connection allows more flexibility when moving between units. Of course, the proven 3-pin LIN bus plug is still included to ensure compatibility with existing setups.
Galvanically Isolated Communication Interfaces
All communication interfaces, including LIN bus and USB, are galvanically isolated to prevent interference between the PC and device electronics.
Wide Range of Simulation Modes
The Baby-LIN-3-Single supports simulating any number of LIN bus nodes, from a single node to the entire bus. Use it as a LIN bus master, simulate slave behaviours, recreate complete bus communications, and more.
Extensive LIN Bus Support
The built-in LIN bus driver handles voltages from 8-26VDC at speeds up to 115200 baud, covering LIN specs plus extended protocols. LIN V1.2 and higher are supported, along with Cooling and SAE J2602 standards.
LINWorks Software Suite Included
Each Baby-LIN-3-Single purchase includes a license for Lipowsky's LINWorks suite for managing LIN bus projects. LINWorks features LDF editing, SD file creation, bus simulation, monitoring, logging, and more.
Rugged and Compact Design
The device fits into a compact 92 x 66 x 28mm case-rated IP20 protection. It operates from -20 to +80 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for various test and production environments.
