Complete Intel ISP Programming Solution

The ISP-ADP-Intel adapter series provides comprehensive connectivity between Dediprog's industry-leading programmers and Intel motherboard ISP headers. Each adapter in the range addresses specific compatibility requirements whilst maintaining consistent build quality and signal integrity standards essential for reliable flash programming operations.

A Series - Entry-Level SF100 Support

The ISP-ADP-Intel-A and ISP-ADP-Intel-A2 adapters provide dedicated connectivity for SF100 programmers to Intel motherboards. These cost-effective solutions handle the signal routing differences between the SF100's 2x7 ISP header and Intel's 2x10 connector standard.

  • Dedicated SF100 programmer compatibility
  • Samtec ASP-159358-03 connector support
  • 8cm cable length with optional header (A2)
  • Basic SPI programming modes

SF100 to Intel Signal Mapping

SF100 Pin Signal Intel Pin Signal
3 I/O2 or CS2 4 CS1
5 VCC 6 VCC
7 CS 2 CS0
12 I/O3 3 RESET

B Series - SF600 Family Compatibility

The ISP-ADP-Intel-B and ISP-ADP-Intel-B2 adapters support the complete SF600 programmer family including SF600, SF600Plus, and SF600Plus-G2 models. These adapters provide single IO programming capabilities with robust signal routing for production environments.

  • SF600 series programmer compatibility
  • Single IO programming support up to 25MHz
  • Automatic CS2/CS1 to CS1/CS0 conversion
  • Production-ready build quality

Important: B series adapters do not support Quad IO programming modes. For Quad IO requirements, use the C series adapters.

C Series - Universal Multi-Programmer Support

The ISP-ADP-Intel-C and ISP-ADP-Intel-C2 adapters offer the most comprehensive compatibility, supporting both SF600 series and EM100Pro series programmers. These advanced adapters include full Quad IO support for high-speed programming operations.

  • Universal programmer compatibility (SF600 + EM100Pro series)
  • Full Quad IO programming support
  • Enhanced connector compatibility (ASP-159358-02 or TFM-110-02-S-D-A)
  • Maximum programming speed capabilities

Header Variants Configuration

The "2" variants (A2, B2, C2) include an additional 2x10 header at the cable end, providing enhanced connectivity options for specific motherboard configurations or test setups requiring intermediate connections. This design allows for daisy-chaining or connection to test fixtures whilst maintaining signal integrity.

Technical Implementation

Connector Standards by Series

Series Connector Type Programming Modes Primary Application
A/A2 ASP-159358-03 Basic SPI Development and prototyping
B/B2 ASP-159358-03 Single IO SPI Production programming
C/C2 ASP-159358-02 or TFM-110-02-S-D-A Single + Quad IO High-speed production

Common Applications

All adapters in the ISP-ADP-Intel range support critical motherboard programming applications including:

  • BIOS/UEFI Recovery: Emergency firmware restoration for unbootable systems
  • Production Programming: High-volume motherboard flash memory programming
  • Development Support: Firmware iteration and debugging during product development
  • Quality Assurance: Verification and testing of programmed flash content
  • Field Service: On-site firmware updates and system recovery operations

Selection Criteria

Adapter selection depends on programmer compatibility requirements, programming speed needs, and connector compatibility. The A series provides cost-effective SF100 support, the B series offers robust SF600 compatibility for standard applications, whilst the C series delivers maximum flexibility with universal programmer support and Quad IO capabilities for demanding production environments.

All adapters maintain the optimised 8cm cable length to ensure signal integrity whilst providing adequate reach for typical motherboard programming scenarios. The professional-grade construction ensures reliable operation across repeated programming cycles in both development and production environments.
